What is the deal with ice?

Hey....I like ice sometimes...it serves it's purpose but I don't NEED to have it. Especially with water, cold water. Do I need ice with cold water? No. Do you know why? It is already cold!!!

Why am I making this statement you ask? Here is why:

Here at the Rat Farm, we only drink bottled water. It is because certain levels of stuff in the tap water doesn't make it safe (by gov't standards) for humans to consume. So, the Rat Farm graciously provides us with bottled water. It is kept in the refrigerator in the lunch room with spares on hand. Now....There is a group of individuals who keep a supply of ice on the freezer. This group appears to be obsessed with the damn ice. This is what I often encounter when I go to the lunch room to heat up my lunch.

Dowdy ice-obsessed woman picking through the half-frozen ice cub tray pilfering ice chips and putting them in her disposable cup. (Right in front of the microwave).
"Oh, do you need me to move?", Dowdy asks.
In my head, I scream at her, "Get your nasty f-ing fingers out of the f-ing ice cube tray and get out of my f-ing way, you time-wasting, elastic pant wearing Jackass".
Instead, I say, "Yes." So she moves off to the side, continues her pillage of the ice tray and then PUTS IT BACK.

I have several issues with this....
1. This happens every F-ing day! Every day!
2. Ice Chips?!?!? Really??!? Get more ice trays if you have to pick through half frozen ice.
3. Why do you even need to the ice for already cold water?!?!? You spend more time picking through the ice with your bare hands than it takes to even drink the f-ing cup of water.
4. Picking through the ice tray with bare hands. No one knows where those hands have been.
5. Putting the contaminated pillaged ice tray BACK in the freezer.
6. You are in my F-ing way, all the f-ing time.

I have been witness to conversations about the ice. "Did you fill the ice trays?" "Did you know SO and SO is using our ice?" "SO and SO should get her own ice! This is our ice!"

For FUCK's SAKE people....you don't need the damn ice. It is ruining your lives! Not to mention, ruining mine.
