So, we are doing Weight Watchers again. I know that I said that I wasn't going to do it again but my clothes were telling me different.
This time, G is also doing Weight Watchers. The thing is, I am looking to lose about 10 pounds. G needs to lose about 40. So I sign-up and answer the questions and my daily point value is......20. 20! 20 points a day. That is NOTHING.
Arrrgggghhh.
G did his questionnaire. He gets........38 points per day! WTF!
We are in week 3.....I have lost 1.5 pounds. I am frustrated, cranky, and hungry. Let me give you an example of a 20 point day:
Breakfast: (3 Points)
1 Banana
16 oz of Coffee with 2 Splenda's and 2 TBS of half and half
Lunch: (4 Points)
1 cup of cooked green peas
1.5 cups of brown rice
Snacks: (throughout the day) (4 Points)
1 pouch of 100 Cal Nabisco Ritz snack Mix
1 Yo-Plus light Yogurt (3 oz)
1 Apple
Dinner: (8 points)
4 oz Ground Turkey
2/3 cup of carrots
1 cup Cannellini beans
Now think about what you eat during the day.
I have to do this though...I have to show G that he is not alone and frankly, I need to lose those extra 10 pounds. Damn this Weight Watchers! I have been reading the blogs and forums to try to gather some inspiration. The forums are NOT helpful. I don't want to see "Yum! Spinach!" Come on! Who the eff says "Yum! Spinach!" and means it?!?!?! I want to see some commiseration here.
Well....2 weeks down, 1.5 pounds less....at this rate, I will be at my goal in about 8 weeks IF I can lose the same each week (which is not likely).
CRAP!
Update: I gained 1 pound this week. I have no idea how that is possible because I'm not allowed to eat anything!!! Grrrr!
