Short Burst "Day-After" Easter

I was at my sisters over the weekend and heard complaints about my lack of blogging. All I can say is...."I know! I told you all I was Lame."

Let's do Short Bursts today, shall we?

1. Who saw the news report about Woody Harrelson mistaking a photographer for a Zombie? Who is he kidding?!?!?! That has to be one of the lamest excuses for assault EVER. Let's take a step back and examine this......Woody is a long-time supporter of marijuana. The medical industry is a long-time supporter of the belief that too much marijuana makes you paranoid. Woody smokes pot. He mistakes Photogs for Zombies. Coincidence?

2. The Easter Bunny graced me with boat loads of candy. I, not wanting to offend the Easter Bunny, ate said candy. Now I look pregnant. Pregnant with Jelly Beans!

3. I colored Easter eggs with the niece and nephews this weekend. I dropped and cracked the first egg I picked up. The kids......dropped zero eggs. The adult....dropped her first egg. I couldn't even blame one of the kids for my mishap. I should not be allowed anywhere near such activities.

4. One of my favorite Easter holiday foods is an Easter Egg sandwich! Not egg salad but sliced Easter eggs with mayo, a little salt and pepper, on potato bread. So GOOD! G made me 2 for dinner last night. (Refer to number 2 and the I look pregnant comment... add Easter egg sandwiches to the jelly beans). The other favorite holiday treat.....Kosher Coke. Unbelievable! Only available during Passover. My area did not have any this year but my sister's area did. I indulged.

5. Great happenings at work last week. I got recognized for my hard work and long hours. It was a nice (and welcome) surprise. It does add a layer of pressure on my shoulders. I can't really complain....I have a job and in this economy that is something. I try to think about that when I am feeling overwhelmed (which is a lot more lately). This new position is a lot on G. I am working more hours, more focused, and less domestic. He is trying but it isn't easy when I get phone calls at 4:00 AM.

My loyal Readers......I will try harder to post more frequently. I really will!
