Apparently the fridge is an issue

I have written before about the obnoxious notes in my work fridge. All along the lines of "stop eating the food that isn't yours bitches"

Today, Human Resources got involved and submitted the following email to the building:

The "building that cannot be named" lunchroom refrigerator is provided as a convenience to employees who wish to bring in their lunch.
Please keep in mind that items placed in the refrigerator are not intended for use by anyone other than the individual who brought in that item.
If you choose to use the refrigerator, please:
1. Only bring in items that will be used that day. The refrigerator is not intended for longer term storage. Storing large amounts limits the space available for others.
2. Label your items to ensure there is no confusion about who owns each item.
3. Remove any items at the end of the day.
As you know, there is limited control over who has access to the items in the refrigerator. As an alternative to using the shared refrigerator, you may wish to use a small cooler that you can keep at your workspace.

I didn't realize that this was such a huge problem, big enough for HR to get involved. Really?

I don't know who is eating everyone's food. No one has eaten my food AND I don't label it. I also don't bring an entire weeks worth of food here. There are people that do that. A loaf of bread, a package of deli meat, a half-gallon of juice....I mean really people...

I have to ask? Why would you want to eat someone elses food (unless it is cake)? I don't know where that food has been. I don't know how clean your house it (yes, it matters). I don't know how clean your hands were when you made that nasty sandwich.

Could it be that there is just one person complaining? Could it be that person blacks out, eats his or her own food, and then can't remember? Somehow, some way, I am going to find out who is responsible for the refrigerator mayhem.

What a waste of my time...bunch of jerks.
